SIN MIEDO A LAS PALABRAS ... No fear about words.

ACERCA DE CARBALLIDO,                                                        English at the end.

    ABOUT CARBALLIDO,

"If we are people of commitment and with ethical worries, our work is going to reflect what we are and what we believe, but it will also reveal to us unknown corners of our thoughts .... Theater like a cultural creation must be a vehicle that approaches the men to their identity, that foments the property sense. The Culture has mediate functions, it serves to give roots to towns, to make them impermeable to the foreing attractions, to give them pride of themselves, to get involved with the universe that surrounds us, to give sense to our existence, to improve the society and become more intelligent to those it is destined" ... this was always Master Carballido tought.

Few years ago, while I was attending a Carballido Conference-Chat, a young lady questioned him .... "Master, could you avoid such bad words in your work? ... he answered without perturbing ... "I'll tell what I said to someone that made me the same question time ago ... what I really believe is that bad words are, Hunger, Violation, Poverty, Ignorance, Death ... what a sad thing to be part of a middle class, lower class or upper class ladies express themselves with freedom, without worries about what people think ... maybe, it is time for you to grow up and learn how to call things by their real name and do not feel afraid about words" ...... ¡Oh Lord what a class, what a great teaching!
